The Weekend and This Week

Hi everyone! I had a decidedly un-exciting weekend. On Friday I worked with Jeff, and ended up working for 4 hours with him Saturday morning (I hate getting up early on Saturdays!), and worked at Shaws in the service desk that evening. Sunday was a typical Sunday; went to church for an excellent and very convicting sermon by Pastor Stephen on the joy of forgiveness. Nursing home occurred in the afternoon, and unfortunately I had not realized that so I didn't practice the songs on the piano at home first. Oh well, it wasn't too too bad :-)
This week I will be at the Bouranis's house from today until next Sunday, so if you want to get hold of me call my cell or the Bouranis's home #, or do the old fashioned email or AIM methods.

It's the end of the world as we know it...

Last night Chris and I went to see War of the Worlds. It was pretty good, though it went far off of the original story line of the book. I guess that is to be expected though as most movies these days don't stick with the original story line. We also had to go to the Bouranis's house to fix the DVD player for Rebecca. I tried to troubleshoot with her over the phone, but she couldn't get it. When we got there, Chris eventually discovered an auxiliary switch on the front of the TV, so I guess it's not entirely her fault.

Update

Well, I had an eventful weekend. My friends and I had a LAN party Friday night through Saturday and it was a lot of fun. We mostly played Battlefield 2 with some Battlefront and Half-Life 2 Deathmatch interspersed. We had a lot of fun despite only getting 3 hours of sleep on Friday night (or should I say Saturday morning! :). Last night I went and picked up Rebecca from the airport at about 11pm as she was at Ryan's over the weekend. Today I have to work at 4pm. I start training for the Service Desk at Shaws and am somewhat nervous about that as there is a large amount of responsibility that comes with that department.
