Hi all. My week has been pretty full. I didn't have to work with Jeff on Monday and Wednesday, as I wasn't feeling up to it, but I did work with him today. I worked at Shaws most of the week to make up for all the hours that I lost due to being sick last week. And of course, I had Spanish. Spanish sucks. I failed Highschool English. (Note: I failed the grammar part of it, but not the spelling part) So how I am I supposed to know how to put together a Spanish sentence structure when I don't even know how to put together English sentence structure!?!?! Oh well. It is three college credits.
At this point I would like to take the time to point out something that really bugs me. When you are traveling along at a brisk pace, and someone in front of you makes a left turn across traffic, sometimes they stop in the middle of the road. Now, stopping in itself isn't the bad part, as they obviously don't have much choice if there is oncoming traffic. But when they stop near the white line instead of the yellow line, you can't get around them to continue on your merry way down the road, thus backing up traffic until they are able to make the turn. There are other scenarios where this can happen, but this one in particular has bugged me today.
For those who don't know, someone broke into my car while I was at work a few weeks back and siphoned gas from my tank. I just bought an alarm system last week so that it wouldn't happen again. I found out the other day that the system can be upgraded to include a microwave sensor, which detects motion in the car if you leave your windows open. I also upgraded to a blue warning LED. Very cool
. And they were actually pretty cheap. The expensive part is having the system installed. Very expensive
.
Ah well. I must away to pick up my senior pics with Baca. If anyone wants one, let me know.\/ out.
