Under a Permanent State of Contruction...

Hi all. I've been keeping busy with work, exercising, and preparing for Basic. Work has been insane because of the Holidays, and the recent storms. People hear about a snowflake and freak out, or so it seems. On the bright side, my pals are back from college for break, so I get to work with some old friends that I haven't seen in a while. I've been running, doing pushups and situps for a month or two now. I need to be able to do 42 pushups, 53 situps, and run 2 miles in 16 minutes and 30 seconds. I'm pretty much there with the pushups and situps, but the running is still hard, especially since its cold outside and so there isn't much motivation (you all know how I get along with the cold). I have a bunch of more mental stuff to do before Basic, like memorize the 3 general orders, learn the military insignias, learn how to turn and do an about face properly, and learn how to march. The marching part has been the hardest part so far. I got most of my Christmas shopping done, which is good because I have to work alot this week. Plus, I don't have a lot of money to throw around, so I can't get alot of stuff for people. I've also got together with my pals to do some airsoft gunning, which has been alot of fun. My sniper gun is so awesome! Well, that comprises my December post. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all. BTW, BF2 Special Forces is awesome!
